Recommended by a friend and was our first time there . The menu has a lot of options so it was hard to decide but everything was excellent including drinks ; probably one of the best selections for different cocktails ! Great atmosphere and all of the staff was very attentive and our waiter was fantastic - Julian .. he had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable !! Highly recommend !!! *** Also they had a great patio - which I would like to do next time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $90–100

I’ve been to 35 Brix several times and generally they have provided great service and even better food. This evening I got their halibut which I usually like very much, but sent it back after taking all of two bites and it tasting very much like ammonia which is a sign of it being old or sitting too long. Halibut has a mild, sweet flavor when fresh and that has been my experience ordering it there in the past. I didn’t eat the side it came with and sent it back almost as quickly as I got it. Rather than refunding me the $40 it cost, the waitress said they refunded me $31 of it. When I asked that was she said because of the side and the salad it came with. I didn’t eat the side and barely touched the salad. I’ve never known a restaurant to break down a meal like that. I was still paying for two drinks, an entree and another side so it wasn’t as though they were getting nothing out of me. The manager never came over to apologize. I was never given a bill with the list of items on it. That experience rubbed me the wrong way entirely and I won’t be back.
