The bartender just “cut me off” because I told her that I didn’t appreciate her attitude. My card wasn’t working on her computer and as soon as she went to another computer it worked. She was being rude because she was frustrated my card wasn’t working, which is understandable but when I told her I didn’t appreciate her attitude she asked me multiple times in a mocking way “are you okay”. She was trying to imply that I’ve been over served when I literally just walked in.. will not be coming here any longer. Long time visitor in Houston and Austin, I’m sure nobody cares but that was incredible unnecessary. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It’s ight ..I went by myself today service and my drink and hooka was okay the guy that took my order was very nice staff seems cool and chill no complaints took 10 mins for my hooka to get out there which is decent wasn’t really too busy when I went wouldn’t recommend the tropical punch hooks flavor it’s not bad but it’s nothing special I wish would’ve got the the pineapple it looked cooler , u can sit anywhere atleast while I was there b4 6 pm i think it is a dress code but it may be for after 7 pm not sure just don’t look homeless basically but overall experience 9/10 will be coming back chill spot paid 38$ for my drink and hooka after tax not bad at all my drink was decent Price per person: $30–40 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I’m honestly disappointed by my experience at 77° Rooftop Patio Bar. Our group came in on a Monday afternoon, ready to spend money and enjoy the atmosphere, but instead we were met with a vibe that felt unwelcoming and off-putting. Despite the place being nearly empty, we were told they are “not allowed” to play rap or R&B music, music that is widely enjoyed and culturally significant to many, including African American patrons in our group. That explanation didn’t sit right, and it created an uncomfortable tone for what should have been a relaxed outing. I understand that businesses can set their own rules and curate their environment, but choices like this send a message, intentional or not, about who is and isn’t welcome. It’s disappointing, especially in a city like Austin that prides itself on diversity and culture. We came ready to support the business and have a good time, but left feeling like that support wasn’t valued. Hopefully, management takes a closer look at how policies like this impact guests and the overall experience.
