Этот ресторан находится неподалеку от Dancing Fountain. AMKC Atelier специализируется на индонезийской кухне. В этом месте непременно попробуйте вкусно приготовленные грибы, паста карбонара и грибной суп. Здесь стоит заказать аппетитный чизкейк, заварные пирожные «шу» и блинчики. Многие гости этого заведения рекомендуют хорошее вино, ром или абсент. В этом ресторане обязательно закажите неплохой моккачино, черный кофе или розовый чай.

When: You have the bucks and want to dine exquisitely and try unique indonesian-inspired desserts
Who: From young-adults to adults would suit this place better. Don't forget to behave! People who like less cream and stronger flavour would love it here also.
Wear: This is Plaza Indonesia, so make sure that you look presentable.

Being a part of UNION group, I know I'm stepping my foot onto some quality dishes right here. We were presented with a loaf of basil bread as our appetizer and I can say that it's one of the best bread I've ever eaten. The outside was crunchy, and the inside was heavenly soft- the butter was really good also! 

We noticed that AMKC atelier sort of avoided to use too much cream- a decision that I personally love. It results to the dishes being tad bit greasier and the taste to be stronger- which some people would love and other people won't like. They also use black truffle here- which tastes stronger and deeper than the usual alba truffle. The desserts, like any other UNION establishments, are high-quality and on the sweeter side. The decor is understated, but it's working quite nicely. Service was good, attentive, and the staffs were quick to notice if we've finished our plate. 

Moving on to the dishes;

Black Truffle Choux, 70k
One of my favourite appetizer of all time. the choux was crispy and the strong-tasted fragrant truffle inside was crushed to be moist and warm- which resulted in some kind of pleasant melting texture. Simply exquisite. A #1 must try in this establishment

Sea Urchin - Pork Crackling - Truffled Angel Hair, 195k
Real pricey but it's uni (sea urchin) and black truffle in one plate, so what do you expect? A slice of uni in a good sushi restaurant would retail at 100k, mind you. Probably my fave truffle pasta dish in UNION group and Jakarta so far. What's interesting about this dish is, amidst all the creamy and hot truffle pastas that could taste like gross armpit grease (sorry that you have to read this sentence in a review of this upscale restaurant) if it goes wrong in other establishments, this one tastes kind of chill and fresh instead.

The usage of black truffle and the lack of unnecessary cream is working for me really well, as it caused the taste to be deeper and the complex woody flavour shines greatly. The uni, which was fresh and good, was sadly a little bit overshadowed by the angel hair and I'd like it better if there were more uni on the plate (even though I don't want to imagine the price lol). Didn't try this dish with Pork crackling so I opted for crumbs instead, and it worked as a nice replacement.

Es Teler Cake, 60k
A very interesting dessert. The sponge pandan cake was filled with avocados, jack fruit, and other es teler components. The cake was very spongy and the cream was addictive. Considering the size and the sweetness I had a hard time finishing this by myself, even though it's easier to finish alone than the chocolate red velvet cake.

Chocolate Red Velvet Cake, 60k
The same one as you'd find in Izakaya Kai, this one tastes real heavy- especially on the chocolate ganache and rum, whether you'd like it or not. Not even sure that I'd want to eat this as a dessert- this probably would do better as a standalone meal when you're on a bad mood or something. My friend laughed uncontrollably and acted a little weird after he ate this, I wonder if it had something to do with the alcohol content or not lol.
