ASIAWAY brings a vibrant blast of fresh Japanese and Asian fusion comfort straight to North Interstate 35E. This modern, casual neighborhood favorite pairs a bright, welcoming dining room with exceptionally friendly hospitality. The kitchen delivers bold, scratch-made flavor, pairing hot-off-the-grill hibachi plates and fresh, customizable poke bowls with artfully rolled sushi, classic wok-tossed fried rice, and crisp appetizers. I really liked the concept of ordering through the app—it was easy to use and made the process convenient. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. We tried the yellowtail sushi and the hibachi, but neither tasted fresh. The fried rice had a strange flavor, and overall the food just wasn't very good. Considering the quality, I also felt it was overpriced. The service was okay, but nothing memorable. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's not a restaurant I would return to. Great quality of food compared to similar alternatives. The grilled chicken option was a welcome choice, with a filling portion size for lunch at a competitive price. If I didn't need to scan a QR code to order, it would have been 5 stars. The staff was also very attentive, polite, and helpful.
