Delicious. Pad pakrow gai not as expected. In Thailand, chicken cut very small. Comes out like chicken mints with basil. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pad See EW

Not every place in Thailand uses ground meat in ka pow. It’s different regionally. Glad you enjoyed it!

This place is great for takeout when you want something healthy but don't feel like cooking. The soups are the best - I always get the Tom Kha with chicken and today I also tried the glass noodle soup which was also delicious. The ribs are great and I get steamed veggies as a side so I feel like its a relatively low carb meal. All in all a great local place for takeout - fresh and healthy choices, good prices.

I'd heard whispers of Ae's Thai And BBQ in Hazlet, and as a health-conscious individual who appreciates the balance and harmony of exquisite cuisine, I decided to take the plunge and order for delivery. Being an afficionado of both Thai flavors and robust BBQ, Ae's got my curiosity triggered. From the moment I placed my order, I was enveloped into a world of comforting culinary marvel. The Drunken Noodles, a timeless favorite of mine, did not shy away from delivering an impeccable explosion of flavor and heat. I requested an extra spice kick, careful not to overstep, and they brilliantly met my expectations, crafting the perfect harmony between flavor and spice that warmed my soul. In a daring twist of my palate, I embarked on the BBQ journey with Ae's ribs. Talk about a simultaneous fusion of cultures in the mouth. The ribs were succulent and left me reminiscing about sunny afternoons spent grilling. A bite into these and I was transcended to a rustic food festival, where flavor and textures reigned unopposed. Contrastingly, the Thai dumplings offered an interesting departure from my comfort cuisine. I found the stuffing slightly more on the meaty side, causing them to be a tad dry even with the sauce, but it maintained a signature Thai personality that left me intrigued. Although I hold a preference for a balanced meat-to-veggie ratio, I appreciated the boldness in the rendition. The Red Curry and Thai Fried Rice were also a testament to Ae's commitment to robust tastes. The curry was a symphony of crisp vegetables swimming in the top-tier sauce. The fried rice didn't disappoint either; the generous portion brimming with flavor was indeed a delightful surprise. One little hiccup was the slightly high price for delivery, but in hindsight, the wide array of tastes and wholesome, fresh ingredients are worth an indulgence once in a while. Blending two culinary worlds in such a seamless manner is no easy task, but Ae's achieves it splendidly. Each dish gave testament to the bountiful of flavors in Thai and BBQ cuisines, a beautiful synergy outpoured in every dish. Despite being a small establishment, Ae's Thai and BBQ punches well above its weight in terms of taste and quality. Can't wait for my next food adventure with Ae's; their flavorful Thai treats have me hooked. And next time, I plan to explore their BBQ further - I am sure it will make another epic fusion tale.
