They have great cocktails and appetizers here! However, I wasn’t a big fan of chicken kebab. It was dry, and a lot smaller than I was expecting. The service was also a bit slow Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Agnes is easily one of my favorite spots in Houston. It’s a cozy hidden gem with a beautiful, effortless atmosphere. The art and lighting make it bright and peaceful for breakfast and perfectly moody and inviting for dinner. The matcha is amazing, the duck fat potatoes and hummus plate are must-orders, and the cocktails are truly some of my favorites in the city. I also highly recommend just sitting at the bar with a couple of apps and a cocktail - it’s honestly the perfect solo date. I also love bringing people here, whether they’re visiting Houston or local friends who haven’t tried it yet, because it always makes an impression. The staff is a big part of what makes Agnes so special. They’re warm, genuine, and make you feel like a regular the moment you walk in. Whether I’m stopping in for a morning coffee or meeting friends for a night out, Agnes always delivers and has become one of the most consistent and comforting restaurants in town!
