Communion held there well organized....excellent food...large spaces for children and adults to play...friendly staff and fairly quick service considering the day with 5 communions inside...really excellent

After having frequented this restaurant for more than ten years, due to the quality of the products, the abundant quantities and the excellent prices, I find myself having to review it negatively. Until a couple of years ago there was an excellent quality-price ratio, with food portions always generous as usually happens in farmhouses and trattorias. In recent times, food portions have decreased dramatically and prices have increased dramatically. Until recently, with the starter costing €10/€12, 2 of us ate, there were lots of cold cuts, cheeses, couscous, beans, various types of bruschetta and many other things. Now the starter costs €14 with very few things, all single portions in paltry quantities. Chicken steak used to be €10/12, now even €15. Desserts from €4 to €6. I understand that the prices of raw materials have increased, but from a place like this you don't expect such paltry quantities at such high prices, especially because in the past everything was totally different. The location is spartan, you don't expect such high prices and such small portions. The last time we went we spent €56 on a starter for two, two chicken steaks and a dessert. At the end of the evening I was still hungry. Considering that around €25/30 meat places will give you a complete menu, we're just not there. Unfortunately we won't be returning again.

In this case, however, we would like to make some considerations: our customers always find the menu of the day on the table with the prices indicated; a physiological increase in the price is completely normal even if we have not understood the association of a Spartan place (which does not belong to us precisely due to the meaning of the term) with high prices, as if a farmhouse-trattoria were to have rock-bottom prices...I do also a small clarification: as a customer commented a few reviews ago, mentioning that we have products at zero cost! By definition you only have the 0 cost of a product if you steal it :))) If you believe that places that offer a complete menu (often without drinks) are worth €25-30 per person (she who spent €28 per person last Saturday evening) we cannot make any objections, we have a quality-cost service policy which is different from these places. Also, it's a shame, if you've known us for 10 years, you know very well how each of you immediately becomes part of our family and so it was worth asking the waiter why there weren't some dishes rather than others (couscous is summery as is seasonality of some dishes) and have a chat rather than write... by the way, coffee has been at €1 for at least 5 years, have you noticed? I hope that in the 10 years during which we have been to your liking you have left us at least one positive review! GreetingsMore
