Honestly, my experience at Akira has been very disappointing, and it wasn’t just a one-time issue. I’ve had multiple bad experiences there, mainly because of the poor service. From the moment we walked in, we genuinely felt unwelcome, as if customer satisfaction was the least of their priorities. One of the waiters in particular (an older gentleman with gray hair) was extremely rude and unprofessional. When you try to speak to him, he either ignores you or responds in a very dismissive manner. At one point, he even tried to change our order and decide what we should get instead of listening to what we actually wanted. In another situation, a glass accidentally fell off the table — something that can happen anywhere. I immediately apologized, but his reaction was completely unacceptable. He looked at me in a very aggressive way, didn’t acknowledge my apology, and simply ignored me, which made the whole situation very uncomfortable. Good food alone isn’t enough to make up for this kind of service. Basic respect and communication are essential, and unfortunately, that’s clearly lacking here. I hope management takes this seriously and works on improving how customers are treated. Price per person: JOD 50+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Supeeeeer super rude waiters, The bald, short man at the entrance gave us one of the worst welcomes imaginable. He was disrespectful and dismissive, and told us to leave if we didn’t like the table, despite the venue being empty and us being the first guests. Completely unacceptable behavior, This is by far the worst reception experience I’ve had, Ultimately, responsibility lies with the owner and management for assigning such a person to a front-facing role and allowing this behavior with customers. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

“Your review is misleading. Our staff asked if you’d prefer to change tables, but instead of communicating, you chose to leave and then portray the situation as ‘unacceptable behavior.’ It’s unfortunate that you decided to escalate a minor seating question into an attack on our team and management. We take hospitality seriously, but we won’t accept false narratives about what actually happened.”
