Celebrated college graduation for a party of 50ppl in the Lemon room. The setting was beautiful, service was impecable and the food was perfection. Everything came out hit and timely. Presentation of food is great and we had the Parmesan wheel that everyone loved watching and eating! Fabrizio made sure all details were taken care of. Staff is friendly, skilled and the chef is undoubtedly well experienced. Everyone in our party was amazed at the attention to detail and can’t wait to come back. Stopping by Little Italy in San Diego, Allegro Restaurant and Bar is a good option! Here are our 4 Star FAPS: Food (F): Delicious and filling! The gnocchi was soft and fresh. It helps to get another dish to provide variety in texture and taste to the dish. The pasta with ragu was another great option. We thought the Caesar salad and calamari were decent, nothing special but still tasty! Ambiance (A): A popular spot for couples and larger parties. We sat under the picturesque lemon ceiling, but with the downhill slope of the floor and far distance from the heater, it made the dining experience a bit chilly and uncomfortable for a January night in SD. Parking (P): We couldn't find any street parking, so we decided to valet park for $15 at the food hall. The valet people will ask you to text them when you are headed back so that your car will be ready to go when you arrive. This valet was about a 5-10 minute walk away from the restaurant. Service (S): Our server wasn't that friendly, but it may also just be his personality. We made a reservation on Yelp for 7 PM. Since we arrive an hour early, we called to inquire if we could be seated early, and they were more than accommodating. Since this was our first and only time in Little Italy, we would recommend but would also want to try other restaurants too!
