New location is a huge step up from the last place. What I like to call a hole in the wall or a hidden gem. I’ve tried every Mexican restaurant in the area and some places have good pork or beef or something specific that’s good whereas this place everything on the menu is delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience and the food is always hot fresh and stellar on your taste buds. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating easily earning the best Mexican restaurant in Sgf in my book nothing compares Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was really good. The place is very nice and clean! Bathrooms are also nice and clean (cleaner than most bathrooms I go in). I only give 4 instead of 5 stars because of the waitress Ana. It took us 10 minutes to even get a server. When we did, we had ordered drinks and cheese dip. It took 20 minutes for her to bring out the cheese dip. It wasn’t even that busy. Then our food came 1 or 2 minutes later. Didnt get to eat much cheese. Ana never came back to check on us. She happened to be walking by so I was able to stop her to ask for a to go drink. (She wasn’t even going to check on us then). We waited at least 15 minutes to get my to go drink. Ana never came back. She was taking to the other table for 5 minutes about nothing important. Then she left and about 10 minutes later, my boyfriend had to track her down for the drink and the check. He said when he found Ana, she was just taking to some lady for 5 or more minutes about her family. When my boyfriend finally asked for the check, he said Ana had said something like “did she (me) need something else? I feel like there was something but I just couldn’t put my finger on it?” He told Ana the tea but we were ready to leave. Ana didn’t even say “oh I can get it real quick” or “sorry” or anything. You would think a good waitress if they forgot something would go back and ask what the customer needs instead of just talking to other customers about life for 10 minutes. Not good service. But the food is very good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Like most of us, I have been to Mexico and the food was delicious. Amigos Mexican Restaurant is like I stepped off plane. So close to the real thing. The best Mexican food in Springfield. But, still can't find a bowl of green chili in Springfield. If you want good Mexican food, put on your sombrero and head to Amigos! Across from Bass Pro. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
