On the north side of Winchester so I don't really pass by very often but I'm really glad I stopped in. Wow! Really excellent food here! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The red and green hot sauces are house made and amazing as well. We had the birria tacos (the best in the city in my opinion) along with some fresh chips and salsa, which I highly recommend pairing with. I can't wait to go back and try more. This is a review based on a grubhub order over the weekend. Sorry, no pictures for this review. It was the weekend, later in the evening and I was super hungry. I have eaten at 3 Mexican restaurants in Winchester so far. All 3 were mediocre. So glad I found Antojitos Mexicanos. This is the MOST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD I have experienced in WINCHESTER VIrginia. And the funniest part about it is it was a delivery order. So let's talk about their amazing food. I had 4 tacos, a quesadilla and a churro. All were fantastic. Two of the tacos were steak, omg delicious, one was pork which included a little of the skin, scrumptious and one turkey. Since the descriptions were in Spanish I didn't really.mean to order the turkey. I am not a fan, but OMG how good it was. The quesadilla which had steak in it could have been a meal all its own. Everything came with a red sauce and green sauce, both were hot and complemented the meal., raw white onion, cilantro and radishes. When I say the food was amazing. It really was. Writing this review my mouth is watering. Can't wait to eat their food again. Looking forward to a visit very soon.
