We decided to head to Applebee’s after previously having good experiences at other locations out of state since we just moved here. To our dismay, it wasn’t the best experience but perhaps I should’ve checked the previous complaints listed on the review page before coming here. I have to mention that although it took a long time for drinks, food and even the check, the manager or assistant manager working tonight was amazing!! I believe his name was Sergio but I could be mistaken. Our server Hannah was attentive when we first sat down to say hi and give us our water and soda but didn’t give us two of our drinks to the point the manager came by to deliver our appetizers then apologized for the wait. Our mocktail sat on the counter for probably 10ish minutes which we disregarded because it still tasted fine and the manager even took it off our tab. We waited ages for our actual food then our barely saw our server for the rest of the night except one check in when we were almost done eating/drinks almost empty then to give us the check. We also were given no silverware and once the manager came by to check on us again since we hadn’t been waited on by our server for a minute, he basically ran to the kitchen to get us some (absolute gem of a guy!). We thought it was just a busy night and shrugged it off till we started paying attention to her rounds. She specifically waited hand and foot on two tables towards the end of her section that ordered a lot of alcohol back to back with my guess being she thought she could get a bigger tip. The food (including half our appetizers) seemed like they were waiting in the window for at least 5-10min because it was semi cold and the oil had settled a bit. We didn’t bother sending it back because it took so long to get out and we were quite hungry. During the time from getting our apps to eating our meal we also witnessed a mom and her young daughter get sat in the booth behind us. When their waitress came up (the other girl training with our actual waitress) she made a snide comment about how this section was closed and they shouldn’t have been sat there at all then was standoffish about actually taking their order. I understand after a long day it’s not what want when you’re waiting on your other tables to finish before going home but it wasn’t appropriate and came off quite rude, at least to us. Overall it was definitely not the best experience and probably won’t be coming back. If you do go just expect a wait. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Everything was wonderful. I love the Parmesan chicken fettuccine and the wonton tacos! The service was wonderful and the strawberry margarita was delicious.
