Family went here for dinner last night. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! No clean silverware so we had plastic utensils. Everything we ordered our waitress said they were out of it so we ordered something else. They kept forgetting things. They forgot two of the kids plate. We asked for it several times. A waitress was sleeping in the dining area. Just horrible!!!! I will not go here again. Management you need to do better. This falls on how staff was trained. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Where Should I begin without sounding like a bad Hallmark movie? We arrived at the establishment around 12:30pm Excited for the fact, we were gonna get to visit an old throwback from our college days. Unfortunately, not even close to the same experience we remembered so fondly. Upon entering the building, we were greeted by a man in gold glasses with a scout on his face so Angry it would make anyone uncomfortable. He immediately pointed over to some cold seats by the window and said sit down it’s gonna be 45 minutes Although we noticed there was about 30 open booths in the building. I immediately wanted to leave, but my friend said we were excited. Let’s see where This plays out. After about 20 minutes, the gentleman came back and got us and ushered us to our seat seats near the bar. We were actually greeted fairly quickly by a young lady that was busy on her cell phone with her earbuds in who took our drink order. We also ordered cheese sticks and told her we were ready to order food. My friend ordered a salad. I ordered the wings with a cup of chicken tortilla soup that was clearly positioned on the menu After about 10 minutes, they came back and asked if we were getting pretzel bread we said no the cheese sticks. My friend went to the restroom and while he was away, the girl came back up again on her cell phone and sat down with the menu and said I’m sorry we don’t have that It’s listed on your menu she said we’ve never had it. What else would you like? I said I’ll take the French onion. My friend came back up and was like what’s going on no? 15 minutes later, they came up with two salads that we did not order. We watch them take those salads to two more tables. When they finally found their home. Next my wings and the cheese sticks came out no soup or salad 15 more minutes went by people just walking past us ignoring us Us empty drinks on the table, my friend it’s still not gotten his salad. He wanted me to let it go to see if this could get any worse. I raise my hand and asked where the salad was and the lady simply said is that your entrée? I said yes, but he doesn’t have his and I’m missing my soup. She didn’t ask what we ordered as if she completely forgot again 10 minutes later the food came out. We choked it down as fast as we could when a simple quick lunch at a nostalgic restaurant turned into a two hour extravaganza with cold food, angry employees who could care less what once was a fun family place to go has gone so far downhill I don’t think this company can turn it around. Good luck to Applebee’s and good luck to anyone who dares to enter. I hope you have a few hours to kill and are not interested in hot food. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
