As the sun was rising on our last day of our trip to Melbourne for the Softball World Series, I asked the family if they were in for a good breakfast before we drove back to Tampa. Half asleep they said yes and left it up to me to decide (which is what happens every time). So I looked on Yelp to find something small with a good vibe. I found Around the World Cafe Bakery and told the family. They were hesitant because the night before I chose a place for dinner and it fell flat (I didn't do a review of that place because it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great). So, I convinced them this place would be great and to have an open mind. Now, the parking situation can be confusing but just know it's in the back of the location. If you enter behind the buildings off of Miramar, it's the second parking lot on the right. As you enter the building from the back, you will notice an outdoor eating area and a simple door. Those are the only thing simple about this place. The greeting as we came in was friendly and engaged. We were there early but it seemed like they were waiting for us, all smiles and friendly. We sat down and right away the young lady who took our order was engaging and attentive. We asked for two regular coffees with cream and two apple juices. She came back with regular coffee but steamed the cream because she said "steamed cream is better" and she was right! The menu is extensive and has some depth. Not the same old breakfast but really detailed flavors that hit sweet and savory. We ordered multiple items because we wanted to try them. Crepes, omelettes, French toast and I had the three egg breakfast with the polish sausage. My family can be a little picky and man we ate everything! The potatoes were sprinkled with fresh dill and I'm not a huge dill fan but man they were amazing! That was just the beginning, the sausage, A++, French toast, awesome...everything was delicious. Best part the owner Iggy, picks up a guitar and starts playing Spanish style and it was really great! He would stop, tell the kids someone needed something and then he got back at it! Really great! We will be back in about 2 weeks and it will be on the list more than once. I wish I would have found this place on day one and not day 7. See you soon Iggy! Top shelf service and food!
