Have wanted to try Atica each time we have been to Paris and were very excited of the theme being French Polynesia. Too much effort was placed finding flavors of Tahiti and creating too many dishes using all ingredients at once. Some dishes were hits but others were complete misses. Tahitian vanilla bean at the end was such a disappointment. I went to bed last night with the sound of everyone’s cutlery scraping the porcelain dishes. Like nails in a chalkboard. I sat directly across the exit door and after 2 hours the 2” foam pad on the bench became unbearable. The tablescape could have easily said ‘I am in Tahiti’ but instead it was a bunch of tired flowers in a glass. My husband and I love Tahiti, none of the staff seemed to notice our Tahitian -French pleasantries or ties to Polynesia. Oh well, we can say we tried. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
