Second bad review I have written in my life but I was very disappointed with the service Saturday night. I have been to the Atomic beer project twice. the first experience was great so I made a second booking for 3 at 8 pm on Saturday for dinner and a few beers, unforntuatnly I was not impressed straight from signing onto the venue. Three ladies were in front of us without a booking and were led to their tables, the security guard was going to let us into the venue but the hostess told him to wait so we had to wait outside in the cold, just inside the door would have been sufficient to get us out of the wind. When the Hostess came back we were there were two tables for us to choose from, a thin long table where we would have to sit shoulder to shoulder and play piggy in the middle or a small circle coffee tables in the middle or sofas, we chose the latter. I noticed that either of these tables had a reserved sign and asked the hostess if we can sit at a table a seen for 4 people and she told me that it was reserved, I am not sure why the other reservations were a priority over us. Since we were having dinner our beers and chips had to be placed on the lounge so our meals could squeeze onto the table. To wrap up my rant I would just like to say this was an unenjoyable and frustrating experience. I don't believe that the tiny tables given to us were considered tables for bookings and our tables were probably given to walk-ins or other patrons who turned up with more people than their bookings. If I had not made a booking and the same situation had happened it would be understandable but if I knew that we would have got these tiny small coffee tables I would have just booked somewhere else.
