I recently had the opportunity to dine at Au Violon restaurant, located in a charming setting in the heart of the city. The main attraction of this establishment is its superb terrace, which offers an exceptional atmosphere for a pleasant evening. My visit was a mix of surprises and satisfactions, and I am delighted to share my experience. The atmosphere on the terrace was simply magnificent. Soft lights, abundant flowers and a view of the old town created a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The service was attentive and professional from the moment we arrived, which immediately reinforced our positive impression of the restaurant. To start our meal, we opted for the goat cheese salad. Unfortunately, this first experience did not quite meet our expectations. Although the ingredients were fresh and quality, the salad lacked an element of surprise. It was a bit disappointing and could have benefited from a bolder seasoning or an unexpected ingredient to make it more memorable. However, our initial disappointment was quickly forgotten when we received our main course, the veal spider. It was a true gastronomic delight. The meat was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked, and it was accompanied by an exquisite sauce that enhanced the flavors perfectly. The accompanying seasonal vegetables were also a treat for the taste buds. To accompany our meal, we chose a wine recommended by the sommelier, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Au Violon's wine selection is impressive and complements the menu perfectly. For dessert, we shared a crème brûlée which was simply divine. The caramelized crust was perfectly crunchy, while the cream was creamy and flavored with vanilla. Overall, despite a slightly disappointing goat salad at the start of the meal, our experience at the Au Violon restaurant was very pleasant. The exceptional quality of the veal spider and other main dishes, combined with the romantic ambiance of the terrace, make it an ideal choice for a special evening. The attentive service and extensive wine selection complete this memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Au Violon for those looking for an unforgettable gastronomic experience in an enchanting setting. Service: 5 Location: 5
