Came in town from Houston for the weekend. Husband and I got sore throats and wanted some hot chai in the cold weather. We decided to try this out. We drove 20mins, around 9pm up here and I was disappointed. I walked over to the truck and the man stared at me and the way he did made me feel like I was back on the streets of Karachi...such a filthy stare! I ordered two Kashmiri chais and he said they were out so I ordered two doodh pattis. In all honesty, it seemed the man was super high or drunk, not sure. Pls hire better people to represent your brand. The chai was great. But never coming back because it was not a pleasant experience.

Was hoping for a great cup of chai. Found this business via map/gps phone app. Connected to their website. Went to the business and they were closed-- apparently they have not updated their newly changed (according to Yelp) hours on their website. Disappointed. Also, while there (and googling where else we could go for chai), we took note that we really wouldn't have wanted to sit and drink chai there anyway- basically on the side of a gas station across from a bunch of trash dumpsters.

This place has an amazing assortment of Chais and Desi snacks. Their bun kabob and Masala fries are the perfect combo to complement both the Kashmiri and Masala Chai. If you are looking for the dhaba style chai the dhoot patti is worth every sip. Personally I am a huge fan of their Desi Coffee and Nutella Paratha as it's a fun little treat when you need to satisfy your sweet tooth. You can't ever go wrong with Austin Chai Wala when you are looking for a good place to enjoy the evening. Also Waj, the owner, is literally the most welcoming guy ever! With the ACW you feel right at home! PS they are shipping their world famous Kashmiri chai mix!
