So disappointed. We are visiting and got all the way there and it was closed for a private party. Won't be back or recommend. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is actually 2 places. One is "Cabana Cafe" and it is downstairs and open to walk ins. "Austin's Ocean One" is upstairs and only open in the evening; requires reservations. "Cabana Cafe" has open air indoor seating with loud fans and a sultry outdoor seating area with umbrella covered tables and plastic standard and high top seating. The topography and buildings do not allow for good air flow/breezes so prepare to be on the uncomfortable side of warm. A large dune blocks any possible view of the beach (also blocks the air flow). We sat outdoors. As for the food it was great! I had a Cabana burger with pepper jack cheese (tomato and lettuce on the side because i don't like mass produced hot house tomatoes) and it came with fries and a mustard sauce (I didn't eat that either because I wasn't feeling that flavor). The fries were perfectly cooked with a very light crispy exterior; a little salty but they were good. The burger was excellent. My girlfriend got the Cob salad with grilled chicken and fried okra. The fried okra was great! The grilled chicken was nicely flavored but overcooked and dry so make sure you have a warm drink handy if dry meat has a tendency to get stuck on the way down. Overall we were pleased with the food and we'd definitely visit again.
