I discovered this hidden spot by complete accident. On a whim I translated the Japanese menu out on the front and the set option for lunch looked interesting. I went in and had the best lunch of my Japan trip so far here. I had the traditional Japanese meal and it was delicious. The owner was so kind and welcoming. He explained the menu items to me in English and even gave me a spoon and fork when he saw me struggle a bit with . He has been running this place since 1990 and 35 years in the business has made him to be so amazing :) I really enjoyed the food and the authentic experience. Lovely tenpura meal at lunchtime; the owners were so friendly and chatty and the food was incredible! The tenpura was light and crisp, and not oily at all. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
