Recently opened, but SUCH a great meal. The food was incredible, the service was GREAT, and the entire atmosphere was perfect. We did the tasting menu with a bottle of wine and I still dream about it. They helped us find the perfect bottle of wine for our meal, and even wrote me a birthday card for it being my birthday. Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: One of us was pescatarian and they were very accommodating and the quality was next level. Placed on the 3rd floor of Børs Hotellet, here you are met directly by friendly staff who, depending on how early you are, take your jacket and place you at the table, or sit you at the lounge. Of the whole evening's experiences, the lounge bar is probably the least good experience, but overall, not much time was spent there. Once in the restaurant, the environment is warm and filled with glittering mirrored walls with an illuminated bar and comfortable tables. The interior and lighting create a really special environment. On the menu you can choose from many different dishes with or without alcohol. This is the first time that whoever chose the alcohol-free option did not feel left out! Really good non-alcoholic drinks that added both flavor and nuance to the food! Impressive! Otherwise, there were of course good wines in ready-made packages that tasted and went well with the food. The food, the big highlight was really good. High quality with pleasant chefs and waiters who both explained and gave hints on how to eat the dish to maximize the experience. Very interesting and tasty ingredients with high quality. Much was centered around fish and shellfish, but wagu and other tasty delicacies also appeared. The service was absolutely wonderful, if you want to eat in a restaurant and that the focus is on you as a paying guest, this is among the absolute best places in Bergen at the moment. Dietary restrictions: I ate the regular menu, but have friends who ate there who had the menu adapted to dietary needs without any problems. Just call ahead and they'll arrange it.
