My family used to order takeout from the Puyallup restaurant once or twice a month starting during covid. The meal deals are a decent value for a family of 4, and once you add in the apps and desserts, it's not an inexpensive meal, but reasonable for a couple times a month. The last year or so, every time we have ordered, something is wrong with the order. Most of the time it is missing items, sometimes its badly cooked food. And they just keep reducing the portion sizes. For the kids meals, we always add the fruit cup as an additional side, and the portion size is about 1/3 what it was 2 years ago. And if you get the salad with tuna on the to-go order, check it before you leave, because they like to throw 2-3 pieces of tuna on it and send it out the door. We have reduced our ordering frequency, but every once in a while, we get a hankering, and we try again, hopeful that the order will be right... and every time we are disappointed. Why we haven't learned our lesson until now, I blame the pizookie. Yesterday, placed another order, went and picked it up... got it home and missing one of the sides, and the tortilla chips were burnt. Drove back over to the store to pick up the missing side and get a different order of the chips. Next order of chips were worse, some burnt, some undercooked, some both. Ended up stopping by Tacoma Boys on the way home to grab some decent tortilla chips to enjoy with my queso. Overall, we are done with takeout from this store. We may occasionally visit in person, as at least there we can send it back to the kitchen. Also, while I was there waiting for my order I noticed their current health department rating was Good, which concerned me a bit, so I looked up their last inspection report, and was a bit dismayed at the results. Hopefully their next inspection goes better. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Family and I had lunch at the BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Puyallup, WA. The restaurant has an open feel with high ceilings. There was no wait for seating, and we were greeted promptly by our server. We were informed of the lunch specials and where to find those in the menu. The booth was large and very roomy. The menu is extensive and has something to offer for everyone. Our food arrived quickly, and entrées were good size. The fudge brownie pazookie ( came with a lunch entrée) was the perfect size to share with my daughter, and it was just the right amount of sweetness. I look forward to our next visit to try something different. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

Usually it's good when me and my family comes here, but the night we came in they must have been short staffed in the kitchen or something. Our food took over 45 minutes and it wasn;t even right and it was cold. The manager came over and made it right and took my food off. I am in the food industry so I know there are bad days, I get it so I understand.
