BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Reno, Nevada exceeded every expectation. The Smash Burger was absolutely incredible—juicy, flavorful, and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. If you stop by, I highly recommend ordering it, especially if they're running one of their great specials. We also shared the pepperoni pizza, and it was over-the-top delicious with a perfectly crisp crust, plenty of pepperoni, and amazing flavor. What really made the visit stand out was the outstanding service. Traveling with kids isn't always easy, but the staff went above and beyond by getting them a snack before our meals arrived, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. They kept everything moving, got us in and out quickly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant in Reno with fantastic burgers, pizza, and exceptional service, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is an easy five-star recommendation. If I could give zero stars I would. Seeing as how I didn’t get my food, I wasn’t given any service when it was needed and the atmosphere was extremely rushed and uncontrolled. Our food was supposed to be ready at 5:55. We showed up at 6:00pm and waited for over an hour for our food. We spoke with the assistant manager twice about if our food was ready and they just kept running around helping everyone else. After three sets of people who’d came in after me got their food before me I asked to speak to a manager. After speaking with her she thanked me came out and proceeded to shove a receipt in my face and tell me that my food was already picked up. I told her that it wasn’t picked up by me and she repeated to me that it was already picked up. She then asked if I wanted a refund or for them to remake the food and it would take another 30 minutes. They offered no rushing my order to be remade, no discount, no complimentary desert or anything. I will never eat here again!!! Updates: After calling them they remade the order, refunded the order, and gave some free pazookies, and a gift card. I would fully adjust my review but I had to call to get this done but they made it right as they should have. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I order from BJ’s pretty frequently, and over the past week alone, I ordered takeout three separate times. Every single order was either late, had to be remade, or was handled poorly in some way. At first, I tried to be understanding because mistakes happen, but after the same issues over and over again, it’s become extremely frustrating. The biggest problem is the customer service. The food itself can be decent, but the constant delays and lack of professionalism make the experience not worth it. This is honestly why I end up choosing Texas Roadhouse more often for takeout — the service is consistently better and far less stressful. This last experience was the final straw. The manager, Hannah, was very rude and unprofessional during the interaction. Instead of trying to resolve the issue respectfully, the situation was handled in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer. I’ve given this location multiple chances because I genuinely used to enjoy ordering from here, but after repeated problems and poor management interactions, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon. I will be contacting the Bjays Restaurant group corporate office on Monday in Huntingon Beach California! Meal type: Lunch Service: 1
