I had an extremely disappointing experience with Bole Gift Service. Their customer service is by far the worst I’ve encountered. There was absolutely no assistance or support throughout the process. I paid extra for guaranteed delivery for holiday order, yet my order was never delivered. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I received no response or resolution. What’s even more frustrating is that they neither fulfilled the order nor issued a refund for the purchase or the delivery fee. This level of service is unacceptable. I would not recommend using Bole Gift Service to anyone, especially if you expect reliability, communication, or basic accountability.

Unethical, Unreachable, and Possibly a Scam: Avoid This Company! I placed an order with BoleGifts on 08/06/2025 for several items to be delivered to my brother in Ethiopia, including a goat. While the delivery was made, the goat arrived sick, with diarrhea, coughing, and later vomiting. This was especially concerning because the gift was intended for my brother and his pregnant wife, and eating a sick animal would have been unsafe for her. As soon as I learned about the condition of the goat, I tried to contact the company: I called multiple times from my number no answer. I sent texts no response. I emailed twice, no reply. I even visited the address listed on their website, only to find it occupied by another business. While at that location, I called from my own phone with no answer, but when someone in the office called from a different number, they answered right away. On that call, the representative promised to replace the goat “as soon as possible.” Despite that promise, nothing was ever done. My brother also tried calling the “manager” at the number they provided again, no answer. It gets worse. The phone number they list for their “Ethiopia office” is completely wrong. A poor elderly woman answered and told me she has nothing to do with BoleGifts, but gets frequent calls from people thinking they are contacting the company. She said she doesn’t know why her number is listed. The physical location they claim for their Ethiopia office also does not exist. My brother went there in person and confirmed that there is no office called BoleGifts. Their own website states that if something is wrong with a product, they will do an exchange. They did not honor this policy. Instead, they avoided contact and failed to take any responsibility. It’s unacceptable to treat customers this way and even worse to take advantage of the distance between the U.S. and Ethiopia, assuming people won’t follow up. Whether they are knowingly selling sick animals, sourcing them cheaply for profit, or simply operating without real offices or correct contact information, I believe this is a scam. Doing this to your own community makes it even more disturbing. I have complete documentation of this entire experience, and I am filing formal complaints with the Georgia Consumer Protection Division and the BBB, as well as disputing the payment. If anything like this happens to you, you should do the same! Be careful! based on my experience, they do not operate in good faith, do not honor their own policies, and cannot be trusted to deliver what you paid for.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent order and experience with Bole Gifts. I placed a flower and cake order for a specific occasion that did not get delivered on the date as expected. My many phone calls, voicemail messages, and emails were never returned and on the one occasion the phone was answered (at night), I was promised a call back that never happened. My order was delivered on the third day, even after requesting a cancellation, but the delivery looked nothing like what was ordered. The "Yellow Orange Flower Trophy" was far from what's pictured both in color and arrangement. The cake from Enrico's was melting and not presentable at all - not to mention there was no variety as pictured. Needless to say, I have no desire to use Bole Gifts again nor would recommend them for deliveries that involve cake or flowers. I have yet to hear back from Bole Gifts over a week later and I'm disappointed not only in the subpar quality of the items that were delivered but the complete lack of customer service.
