I just want to very randomly call out OPEC and big oil. Before you call me insane, first explain to me everything in the entire world which is impossible and then we can work back from there. But in actuality I'm hardly calling out opec and big oil mainly because and for the reason this is a review of a BP truck stop Now we've got that out of the way let's talk about the petrol price at the bowsers at the minute. It is cheap, cheaper than it has normally been. Dear opec and big oil how has the current price of petroleum to nominal commuter consumers affected petroleum sales and further by citizen commuter consumers and the travel in and upom motor vehicles. At what point in time does the price of gasoline petroleum coming to the equation in terms of to travel or not to travel via a car which utilises petroleum gasoline. This is concurrent and relevant with the current undertakings and discussions amongst citizen community members in the Australian population about the rising cost of living. Do those most affected by the cost of living take into consideration petroleum fuels and their cost in a decision to make or undertake transport to destination via motor vehicles? In knowing that opec is a cartel pricing regime system. Does lower prices towards the Australian Consumer increase usage and therefore sales uptake. If so then does big oil profit more off increase sales at nominally lower prices or not? This is the conversation and discussion with which we are currently dealing with and undertaking. My own personal insight as towards the psychology behind this is that at the current price of petroleum gasoline products that this is a consideration upon the cost of living of Australians at the current time. And further that, as prices fluctuate at the bowsers for consumers, that consumer psychology might indeed view the recent reduction or suppression in prices as a sale. What this means is that where they are thinking about the cost of living, most nominally as is a universal current amongst all people's purchases of basic necessities and essentials. Especially as towards those quantified by dollar per measurement values. As the heuristic pricing of these is most naturally easy to compare against recent memory. That's further if pricing was a consideration. Where individuals chose to reduce motor vehicle transport usage. That's during periods of reduced prices they might then discount the fact the normative parallel and position of circumstance that it is what it is, if they want to utilise their motor vehicle more so that it is now cheaper then previous to do so. Meaning that where previous they may have been monitoring these costs they are now viewed as cheap, and universally psychologically discounted. For when else next will they be able to, access prices at their current cost expense. Meaning that maybe they consumers were utilising alternative forms of transport or putting off use of their motor vehicle due cost of living and cost of basic necessity fuel. We're now they see that they have the opposite they to do so if prices are reduced currently and then they will go back up to their normal values it is cheaper now to undertake motor vehicle transport travel then will be in the future. Meaning there is an opportunity cost to undertake travel now, so psychologically speaking they should. And as towards further maybe they were putting off travels and they want to get out and about amongst the community to travel to destinations upon which they were holding back travel for the reason of fuel expenses. Where getting them to utilise their vehicle builds more will towards continuation of this and maybe offers them a brief period during the suppression and reduction of prices in order to utilise their preferred method of personal transportation in light of the current cost of living expenses related to nominal wage inflation, by the fact that the dollar is not pegs to any real resource and has a belief value of 0 or otherwise infinity. Dependent upon what somebody thinks it is worth.
