I had a really disappointing experience at this bagel shop. went in and came out extremely upset. Despite there being several employees behind the counter, it felt like no one was actually working or paying attention to customers. The service was very disorganized. What made it worse was the uncomfortable and odd atmosphere. There was a lot of laughing and joking among staff, but it didn’t feel welcoming, more like customers were being ignored while employees socialized. At one point, had to go behind the counter for my order. The person handed it out the window where usually a server would grab it from, why am i going behind the counter. They said hes your order twice...but they asked my name at check out....wouldnt they use my name. I had no idea they were even taking to me. This place is very strange and unprofessional. Will not go back and would not recommend. So upset didnt even eat my food that I took to go. Overall, the experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. With so many people working, you’d expect better service and organization. Unfortunately, this place missed the mark.

I think I have found my family's new favorite place to get an amazing breakfast and coffee!! We live in Frederick MD and regularly travel to different places to check out the restaurants and I am so glad that we decided to visit here! So many choices of bagels (all made there) and the pastries are out of this world and so many choices that it makes it amazingly difficult to choose which one you want to try. Coffee is great and the sausage egg and cheese on a cheddar bagel was so good. Son had a sausage egg and cheese on a french toast bagel and I have never seen him woof something down so quick! He loved it. Please if you are in the area check this place out, you will definately not be disapointed. Sidenote : watching the owner herself carry a large order personally out to the customers car showed me that they care for their customers and that is the type of place I want to visit. We will DEFINATEY be back and I wish you were closer to me we would be a regular customer. Thanks for the superior customer service and food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My fiancée and I visited Bagel Chicks Bakery for the first time this morning, and we were totally blown away. This place is definitely going to be our new favorite spot. They offer so much, and everyone working there was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. You can tell they’re hard workers who really care—truly an inspiration. The building itself is new, gorgeous, cozy, and inviting, which made the whole experience even better. Now… the food. OMG. Amazing. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and ate them so fast we didn’t even get a picture! The bagels were unbelievably soft, fresh, and flavorful. The sausage was delicious, and the egg was cooked perfectly—everything tasted so fresh and perfectly balanced. Absolute perfection. We also got a hot latte that was so good we ended up getting back in line to try an iced coffee, and that was exceptional too. We couldn’t be more pleased with our entire experience and will definitely be back on a regular basis! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast

Hi Jessica,Wow — thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful review! We’re over the moon reading about your first visit to Bagel Chicks Bakery. It means a lot to hear that you and your fiancée enjoyed everything from the service to the cozy vibe of the bakery. And the way you described the food… seriously, that made our whole team smile. We’re so glad the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot (even without a picture — we’ll take “ate it too fast” as the ultimate compliment!). Hearing that you went back in line for another drink absolutely made our day.We truly appreciate you taking the time to share all of this. Can’t wait to welcome you both back — and we’re honored to become one of your new favorite spots!
