white house We were guests at Baita Motti last weekend. We are two families made up of four adults and five girls between six and ten years of age. As soon as we left the car in the car park adjacent to the chairlift, we headed to the equipment rental point and, in a short time, they equipped us for a good ski. You cannot imagine how many bags, suitcases, skis, helmets and boots have accumulated at the foot of the chairlift. At this point the dads, perplexed by such a huge amount of luggage, which only wives and daughters can produce for a weekend in the snow, tried to figure out how to reach the top. With a quick hand hand everyone helped us: from the ski rental staff to the staff of the lifts, up to the welcome at the hut it was a succession of greetings, warm smiles and vigorous hand hands like this, in no time at all we, our children and our luggage arrived safely and quickly up to our rooms. This family environment accompanied us throughout our stay and as if by magic a quick weekend out of town turned into total involvement in this evocative mountain atmosphere; then sharing, over a good wine and excellent food, the stories of those who prepare the slopes every day, listening to the voices of the mountain, greeting the ski instructors and instructors who with so much patience entertain young and old was a real surprise. We have figured out the secret hereit is the profound meaning of a mountain community in which everyone stays close to each other, with their feet firmly towards the valley and with their gaze turned towards the top, ready to offer you sturdy arms that they accompany you in their passion, in their own mountain, in their own family.
