This isn’t a fee added after the transaction or an unauthorised charge, and it’s a very common practice at hospitality venues across Australia. We understand it can be frustrating if you weren’t expecting it, and we appreciate your feedback about the signage. We’ll certainly review how we communicate this to customers to make it clearer.
