Going here is like stepping back in time. But the food is mediocre and the service not very attentive even though the place was empty. The chicken noodle soup was fine, the cheese pizza just ok (crust is bland like it needs salt) and my husband said the mussels were good. I didn’t order a salad because the choices were boring (lettuce and tomato with choices to add sliced egg or cheese - yuck)! And something was def wrong with the soda machine at the bar because my gin and tonic tasted really toxic and my husbands rum and coke was also bad. The final taste test was our friend’s birch beer which was also bitter so I’m guessing the lines need to be cleaned out. Anyways the prices were reasonable and we didn’t regret going! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Old school neighborhood restaurant that isn’t overpriced or too fancy. Food is generally good, prepared correctly, and the amounts are larger and more substantial. Excellent place to unwind, relax, and destress. Suitable for almost anyone. The ATM inside, which charges $2.99, or a Chase Bank two blocks distant on Passaic Street. Or charge for small 3% surcharge. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian, Vegetarian menu or section, Not sure Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: No
