Booked a twin room for my friend birthday weekend and when we arrived and were given the room key the room already had someone's belongings in. We popped down to reception to explain what happend, they took us to the bar while they sorted out another room for a free cocktail. After around 10 minutes they came back down with a new room key to an upgraded suite (Frink Suite)! Exceptional service, beautiful suite and topped off the birthday weekend! Slept like a log, bathroom was stunning, room shows a bit of age with some paint peeling in some corners (very old building, to be fair) but had a wonderful time and very sound sleep! Will be back again when visiting Manchester. Service: 5

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The hotel is located in the city center, which made it very convenient for exploring the area. The train station is only a 3-minute walk away, making it easy to travel and get around. The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Omar, who was always smiling, helpful, and professional. His kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from each morning. Overall, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable trip, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Service: 5
