i came in alone at lunch time. they saw me came in and just looked at me. about two minutes in, and they hadnt given me a menu. i had to get up and go to the cashier where the menus were and asked for one. they did not do this for all the other customers that came in, especially the ones in groups. they immediately attended to them. i ordered a cappuccino and it was served to me spilled all over the saucer. there also seemed to be a hard piece of food stuck to the holder that definitely was not part of the cup that couldve been washed off properly. ew. i looked at their menu and saw salmon belly for cheap and wondered why, so i ordered it. then it made sense. i have never seen salmon belly served like that. i thought “cripsy fish” mean the skin was crispy. nope. crispy indeed but very oily. the taste and oil stayed in my mouth all afternoon, it was quite disgusting. spaghetti was also not very good. pasta was a bit hard and the sauce was just not it, even for filipino spaghetti. i was genuinely very disappointed as i spent 630 pesos on a meal i did not enjoy and im a very easy person to please, especially with food. i will eat anything, im not at all picky. but this experience was disappointing. big sigh. at least the atmosphere was okay. i didnt realize there were two locations. maybe the other one wouldve been a better experience. We had a delicious breakfast at Bascon Cafe in Bacolod. We ordered rice meals with smoked fish and egg, and chorizo rice. The coffee was also good and strong. It was a satisfying and affordable way to start our day. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₱400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
