Just for anyone wondering who doesn’t know it’s a drive through not sit down, unless your already sitting in your car :-) although their are sole tables and seats outside that can be used if the weather is nice or at least dry. The Mart Coffee in Kilcullen and occasionally The Coffee Bus in Kildare are one of my daily rituals. Not because they claim to make the best coffee, rather they deliver something important. Genuine warmth, kindness, and consistency. Good staff can make a business and here shows that to be true. Even when it is freezing cold and the rain is lashing, the team are smiling, welcoming, and full of good energy. That matters to me so many places fail in that task alone. Ashley, Megan Jade, Cathrine, Ash, Rían, and let’s not forget Peter. These hero’s remember regular orders, love a bit of banter, and make every visit feel personal. For me, coffee time is fifteen minutes of normality in a busy world, it feels like a small community moment rather than just buying a drink even if it is just a cup of coffee. Mart Coffee in Kilcullen in particular is the cornerstone of my daily routine. A brilliant local business run by a genuinely caring team. Caffeine, connection, community, and supporting people who put heart into it is what I’m about, If you pop in and mention I sent you, they might even look after you. No promises. But they will know you read this. On another note If you fancy a small treat with your brew, get a Freddo bar from the fridge. It is a simple pleasure, but it hits the spot. If I had one tiny request, it would be slightly meatier sausage rolls. Just a little more substance. But honestly, that is a minor detail and to be fair I shouldn't be eating them or the freddo bars or any other of the delicious treats but do yourself a favour and try a fresh pear tart mmmmm, tasty. They represent what local business should be: Friendly, Reliable, Personal, Community driven, Entrepreneurial. By supporting places like these, we are supporting real people who care about their work and their customers. I also back great spots around Kildare, Naas, and Clane. Supporting local is key. It keeps towns alive and gives something back to the community. Go grab a brew and enjoy your day! Meal type: Breakfast Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great coffee and extremely convenient with the drive through setting. The staff are always exceptional, extremely friendly and in good spirits even on the worst weather days, service is top tier, order is always remembered and they go the extra mile with our kid. Admittedly one member of staff, an older guy, is a little less friendly but thankfully his presence is infrequent Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
