Went here for dinner with a friend (her recommendation). The restaurant overlooks a nice expanse of the Rhine River where you can see all the riverboat traffic and the castles on the hills in the distance. The menu seems to be a modern take on traditional German foods. And, as late May is in the midst of asparagus season in Germany (a big deal!), I ordered the White Asparagus with Ham & Potatoes with Hollandaise Sauce. This was a surprisingly satisfying dish and was topped off with their Café Bastei dessert sampler. A very nice restaurant, but a little bit of a challenge to get to if you're taking public transportation from Cologne like I did. :-) Thank goodness for Google Maps!

Der Service war mehr als unterirdisch. Wir bestellten eine große Flasche Mineralwasser und fragten nach entkoffeiniertem Kaffe; Antwort: "Weiß nicht, ob wir das haben - muss ich fragen..." Die Antwort haben wir bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthaltes nicht erhalten... Und dementsprechend auch keinen Kaffee... Ebensowenig eine weitere Nachfrage nach einem Wunsch... Das brauchen wir nicht wieder!

It's a nice restaurant located on the Rhine in Bonn. Great views and there is plenty of outdoor seating for warm days. It was raining when we went here so we sat inside. It's a bit pricey for what it is. Food here is varied and plenty of choice for starters, mains and desserts. I had the Spargel main and it was nice quality asparagus served with potatoes and butter. I quite liked it. I would come back here for a drink or a meal again. It's a nice location with ok food.
