We discovered this place a couple of years ago on our last visit to this area. Plain but spotlessly clean. The service staff took minute to warm up to us. The onion rings were abundant, HOT and crispy. My house salad was as good as they come unless you make it yourself. All of that was good enough to come for except we came for the chicken wings. They have a light batter that is fried to perfection. The wings are as big as turkey wings. The bottom line is they are to die for!! Warning: They come 1/2 dozen and dozen sizes. No two people I lknow can comfortably eat the dozen. Order appropriately! Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Free of charge street parking

Finally got my butt to @bear's Inn. It's JUST off 28 at exit 12 Cheswick/Springdale. EASY on/off highway. YOW 1st of all, BIG wings. Whole si if that's not not you, carry on. That's a 12 oz bevvie for comparison. Crisp! Perfectly cooked inside. I had the "hot," a Buffalo-style sauce. Lotsa delish; if you'd prefer less, let them know. SAT night; minus bevvies, seems about u$12. Did I mention SAT night? Regular price? So about a buck$ a segment? Wednesday is wing night but what that means, I don't know. It's an old-school bar, been there 46 years run by 2 brothers. There is also a dining room. Not fancy; I like. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
