My rating is based on our food delivery order. We didn’t come in to eat an Hunny Beez so I’m disregarding service and atmosphere. 3-4 years ago, my club would get Filipino food catering from this restaurant along with halo halo and the food and dessert tasted amazing. BUT I’m not sure what changed, my partner and I ordered food from Hunny Beez through Uber Eats and were instantly disappointed after a few bites. The lechon was not cooked properly and the skin was not crispy, it was rubbery and very hard to chew to the point where I had to peel off the pork skin from each piece of lechon. The pancit was mostly carrots, noodles were soggy and were broken into small rice size pieces. The ube tres leches we ordered was dry and had the consistency of sand. And lastly the halo halo smelled a bit like cleaning solution/nail polish remover and was weirdly carbonated. The ube looking soft serve on the halo halo was not ube at all. It was also missing mango ice cream despite the description saying so. Overall, I’m not sure if we would give this place another try. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1

I just was in town to visit for and I was starving. Let me just tell you food was killer killer as in flavor, every bite was mouth watering it was literally perfect, the bar tender was so sweet and kind serving nothing but vibes. Service was fast! Not too mention karaoke like ugh. If you have a chance check this place out you won’t be disappointed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really wanted to like this place. Firstly the service: There is an ordering kiosk in the restaurant that has a sign with bold lettering that says 'for use for to-go and patio orders only'. As we approach the kiosk to order, the server walks up to us, and in a stand-offish and exasperated tone, asks what we wanted to do. The restaurant was empty, mind you. We tell him we want to sit outside, he then tells us that the kiosk cannot be used for patio seating and he will take our order. Hmm, ok. We sit outside and 10 min later he comes out and just stands there silently - doesn't say a word. I thought that was strange so I wanted to see how much longer he would just stare at us and not say anything. He did so for another excruciating 15-20 seconds, then finally asks what we want for drinks. I asked him about the Groupon we wanted to use seeing as I have never used one before, and in a monotone voice says, 'its like cash.' and in the same breath, saunters off to put our drinks in. He comes back out another 10 min later and takes our order, where we don't see him for the rest of the meal. A woman comes out and drops our food off, but we have to get silverware ourselves AND bus our table AND refill our waters AND pay at the counter (btw, no one told us to go inside to pay). No one checks in on us. Our whole interaction with this guy was super brief and awkward and we felt like we were inconveniencing him by sitting outside. If you're going to have someone take our order as if it were a sit down experience, provide the rest of the service, or don't ask for tip. The food: Was ok. It was very, very bland. The lumpia filling had great texture, but was bland. The eggplant omelet had a lovely color and was cooked nicely, but was bland. The same goes for all our other items. The price point reflects an establishment that should have better quality. All in all, I would have given this place a second chance, but our server was a huge deciding factor to not come back.
