The place is nice and so is the dishes. The quality-price ratio is very bad. 2.5 per person for bread and it was a single small loaf. Even though it is homemade, it seems excessive to me. Very expensive for what it is, the portions are very limited. We went expecting to try the shawarma and it does not indicate on their website that it is only available at noon and not every day. In short, a rather expensive disappointment. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I have always assumed I was a fan of Lebanese food. Based on my multiple experiences at Bekaa Bistro I was wrong. In reality I have been consuming various interpretations of Lebanese food designed to appeal to local diners. Eating at Bekaa has reminded me of my first experience with Mexican food in Tijuana, Mexico. To compare my Tijuana dinner to the Americanized Mexican dishes found in the US was like comparing a boxed frozen pizza to a pizza margherita made fresh in Napoli.At Bekaa Bistro you will find a menu with offerings that bear no resemblance to the Lebanese food you have had before. The originality and unique blend of spices has liberated my tastebuds to appreciate classic Lebanese dishes. The value for the quality is outstanding. Despite the challenges of opening during the pandemic Omar Eid and his staff have been able to maintain a remarkable consistency for takeout or in person dining. Come for the Sunday brunch to nibble small plates and return for lunch or dinner to sample the specialties (check hours of operation on the website due to pandemic restrictions). And don't forget to take away the chips and dips. Highly recommended.
