As a frequent visitor to Japan with a deep appreciation for authentic ramen, I was really looking forward to my first meal out after a long diet. Unfortunately, my experience at Bento Box in Foley did not meet expectations. **Parking & Arrival:** Parking was non-existent, forcing me to park at a closed establishment nearby. Once inside, the layout was confusing, and it wasn’t clear where to go or sit. **Service & Communication:** While the waiter was very nice, the service felt disorganized. There was no drink menu provided, and I ended up receiving the wrong drink. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable being encouraged to tip before the food arrived. **Atmosphere & Facilities:** The decor and table arrangements were underwhelming. Furthermore, the restroom was in poor repair, as the door did not close or lock properly. **The Food:** The ramen was disappointing; the broth was bland, and it lacked the quality of ingredients I expected. Half the bowl was onions and the noddles were something out of a top ramen package. The salmon in my bento box was overcooked, dry, and heavily over-salted. The gyoza were soggy, and the coleslaw was unpleasantly dry. **Service:** I want to emphasize that the waiter was genuinely kind and welcoming, which is the only reason I am giving two stars instead of one. **Crab Rangoons:** These were the standout of the meal they were flavorful, sweet, and had a great umami profile. I truly wanted to enjoy this meal, but unfortunately, the execution of the food and the overall setup missed the mark. I hope this feedback helps the team make some improvements. Our second visit to Bento Box, just as great as first. Husband got Hong Kong ribs, I got the ramen bowl. Both delicious. Serene atmosphere. Owner is a great guy and we wish him all success. We love supporting small, local establishments. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
