Without doubt one of the best cafes in East Cork . Excellent creamy coffee , great collection of foccacia toasties and savouries plus pizza . Designed so that there are plenty of perches to sit on and run by a terrific team headed up by Michelina. I should add that its sister company Bite size is just up the road specializing in baking , cakes and more traditional toasties . lovely stuff Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I almost never take the time to leave a review unless the experience was terrible, but this time it couldn’t have been further from the truth. It’s rare to find a breakfast sandwich that I like more than one I can make myself, so it’s no small thing for me to say the Bernie’s Breakfast sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. My daughter had the much simpler toasted ham and cheese with homemade ranch dressing, which was also fantastic. The dark chocolate mocha? Amazing. I only regret I discovered this spot on our last day in town; but we will definitely be back! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice friendly spot with lovely food. My one complaint was that I asked for 2 extra hot cappuccinos but unfortunately they were barely hot and were cold in no time at all. Probably won't be going back for that reason
