we are sorry to hear this guest experience was less than great. the heat in the restaurant was discussed with this table and turned up in the separate eating area twice. comfortable, soft blankets were offered that can be worn as shawl or …we are sorry to hear this guest experience was less than great. the heat in the restaurant was discussed with this table and turned up in the separate eating area twice. comfortable, soft blankets were offered that can be worn as shawl or sweater style but were dismissed. all other guests in restaurant queried about this were very comfortable all night. we have fortunately never heard any guest say that food was 'fair', and no mention of this was brought to our kitchens' attention. the guests may have been dismayed to know that table was not available right away as a prior reservation had not departed in the time allotted for their evening. we worked thoroughly to attempt to free the table on time for the new guests.. after seating the new guests, the server was attempting to be attentive and was rebuffed. we take our service standard, food quality, guest comfort and reputation quite seriously and have rarely been called to respond to reviews like this, and have been for the most part entirely positive during our existence. the casual nature with which these comments seem to have been offered does not align with our business model or the level of thought careful restauranteurs deserve when speaking to the future dining public. we offer this with respect and in defense of the staff working hard at the Bistro at Lake Chelan each evening.More
