The Blau-Bar is well located near Schwab-/Bebelstr. and can therefore be easily reached by both bus and subway. The identifying mark - the blue square - cannot be missed from any direction (even if the bar's name is not there). The interior is beautiful to look at and you can tell that love has been put into it. Nevertheless, there is room for improvement here. Due to the tables, the seating creates more distance than closeness to friends. The chairs are designed to be leaned against, which essentially makes it impossible to have a conversation with the other person, so you should always lean forward. It must be said that not all seating groups are designed this way. If you come with two people, it's better to sit next to each other. There's nothing hanging on the walls. An attempt has been made to stylistically enhance the walls, but pictures or other things simply seem more comfortable - especially since blue is not a warm color. The service is very friendly, authentic and attentive. There is nothing more to say. :) My drinks were delicious - as I know them. Unfortunately, conventional ice cubes were used here, which quickly watered down the drink. I know that if you use a large ice ball, it melts much more slowly and you can enjoy your drink for longer. Overall it was a nice bar experience! But not necessarily outstanding either. So there is still room for improvement and I'm sure that will happen since the bar is still in its early stages. It should just be a little more comfortable so that you feel like staying longer.
