Came here for bagels and breakfast one Sunday afternoon. We came around 12pm, the location was a bit hard to find from where we came from (we had to do a you-turn) ...but it was worth it! Cute little shop inside, cute decore and feel. I ordered an egg and cheese on a plain bagel. My fiance ordered the specialty bagel with egg and cheese. Can't remember the name but it had thyme and middle eastern spiced bagels. We were the only ones there so we got our bagels quick. My egg and cheese bagel was perfect, the eggs tasted scrambled and fresh. Bagel was crunchy and soft. My boyfriend loved his well. We also ordered 6 bialys and 6 other bagels to go. This is the only place in town that has onion bialys. If you know you know- I had one at home in sandwich form and it was pretty epic. The chef was super nice and chatty. Will def be back for sure, legit bagel shop in Charleston.

Tatyana, Thank you for making the effort to find us and for the detailed review. I think you had a rosemary bagel and a za'atar bagel, and I'm so glad you found us. Glad you know about bialys, too! We know! We know!

Found this place by accident. Told my coworker I wanted coffee and he pulled up to this place and I was like "okay". Walked in and the owner Bettina was very friendly and she helped me navigate the many choices of bagels she makes in house. We finally landed on a recommendation of hers and it was incredible. I've brought 2 different people here just because I want more people to know about it and I plan on bringing more.

Stopped at Blazing Star Cafe today. I was on my way to the gym at the Citadel Mall and needed a quick carb and protein pick me up. When I arrived, I was welcomed in. The staff was friendly and attentive. There was no wait. I got my food and drink right away. The place was neat clean and cozy. I went with a toasted everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese. I also grabbed a hot cup of Joe. I was in and out with my order in just a few minutes. The coffee and bagel were the perfect choices to get my day rolling. I would recommend  this place! Keep in mind, they are only open until 2:00 pm.
