Das Blue Dolphin ist Teil der im Besitz eines Deutschen stehenden Lanka Beach Bungalow Resorts. Es ist ein nettes Freiluftrestaurant mit Blick auf das Meer. Für Hotelbewohner ist es einfach zu finden, für Gäste von außerhalb etwas schwieriger. Entweder kommt man von der Straße und geht durch das Tor der Anlage, oder man kommt vom Strand aus, durch das Strandtor. Das Lokal ist am Strand mit einem braunen Pflog mit einem geschnitzten Delphin darauf, markiert. Die Karte ist landesüblich, mit landesüblichen Gerichten. Dazu kommt eine große Kreidetafel mit den Currys und Fischgerichten des Tages. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Curry Gerichte, die wirklich ausgezeichnet schmecken. Das Lokal ist lizenziert und verkauft auch Bier, Wein und Cocktails. Das Essen ist sehr gut zubereitet, optisch ansprechend und von guter Qualität. Es ist vielleicht ein wenig teurer, als einige andere Restaurants ohne Hotelanschluss. Chef des Restaurants ist Hansene, der es versteht die Gäste zu unterhalten, seine Köche zu guten Leistungen anzuspornen und wertvolle Informationen an jene weiterzugeben, die es wollen und brauchen. Wir haben hier einige Gerichte ausprobiert und waren nicht enttäuscht. Daher auch eine 5 Sterne Bewertung. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rs 3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Vido and Hansile are super helpful and their service is perfect. Cocktails are great and the food is excellent! Dinning area is open so you can hear and see the oceans waves crashing. Ambience is truly spectacular. Definitely worth trying. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This amazing restaurant features a great and dedicated chef, friendly staff, and affordable prices. The restaurant is located inside the Lanka Beach Bungalow. If you are not staying at Lanka Beach Bungalow, you can still visit this restaurant for a fantastic breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I strongly recommend it! If you stay at Lanka Beach Bungalow, your breakfast will be served here. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The chef is highly dedicated, truly enjoys cooking, and presents dishes in a beautifully decorated way. The chef is amazing! The staff is very friendly. The location is beautiful, offering a view of a stunning swimming pool and a fantastic view of the ocean, along with the soothing sound of the waves.
