The blue fox is an Anchorage gemstone. Its a college bar and meeting place with fantastic burgers. Great bartenders bring an engaging and live atmosphere. I won $1200 and 4 ounces of silver playing pull tabs at the blue fox. One of my favorite bars in Anchorage. Cody and Jamie are the stars of the place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: No Wheelchair accessibility: Not good.

Stopped in to kill time before heading to Providence. I have been looking a bar just like this. Coming from Kodiak, we are always looking for a new spot. Well, I found it! Can’t wait to bring the ‘ol battle axe!!

Just about every time we come here we love it and have a wonderful time. Unfortunately that was not the case on this occasion. It was trivia night, super cool. It did take a while for us to receive serve, that’s okay. The table behind us sat after us but was served before us, we are patient. What tipped the scale was the how incredible rude and inhospitable our waitress was. I found an online menu with cocktails and inquired about two drinks. She boasted about she has been bartending for 20 some years and “we don’t make those” rolled her eyes when I asked for a beer. My party and I left after that. Off put by her attitude. Bummer. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
