This gem is nestled in worth which is a beautiful setting. We arranged to go for our anniversary and we arrived at 3pm. The place is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and we greeted by Lucy who is an absolute credit to the Blue Pigeons. The outside space was beautiful and we had a table in the restaurant which was decorated and a lovely card wishing us a happy anniversary, lovely thought. We went outside for a drink before our lunch. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely faultless. I had the scallops with pea puree and chorizo and my wife had the king prawn cocktail. The mains my wife had king prawn linguine and I had the burger. Both dishes were incredible and so filling. After lunch we went outside for some more drinks before heading home. The Blue Pigeon is a beautiful setting and very relaxing atmosphere. All the staff are happy and so engaging. We had a lovely meal, with the perfect atmosphere. I would to thank all the staff for making our anniversary so perfect and we will be back soon.

We celebrated a 70th birthday with a Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. The Blue Pigeons is a beautiful venue both inside and out. Gardens and outdoor seats were very comfortable. From the moment we arrived our waitress Donna was very attentive and gave us some great recommendations. The Sunday lunch was delicious with plenty of home cooked vegetables. One of our party required gluten free and any changes requested were dealt with accordingly. Only one criticism would be that the menu did not indicate what was gluten free and for a celiac in the party questions had to be asked to find out what was suitable despite letting the venue know in advance of dietary requirements. This did not make our meal any less enjoyable and we will be back. One of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a long time and £30 for two courses is great value with quality food being served. I can’t believe we haven’t been before now! We escaped the heatwave for lunch at The Blue Pigeons (air con!). The girl front of house was absolutely lovely, so cheerful and welcoming. Interior decor was tasteful and elegant. Food was delicious! Arancini, king prawn linguini and the sandwich of the day between us. Really good and not crazy prices. It was too hot to be outside but the garden is absolutely stunning! Can’t wait to come back and enjoy a drink out there, with space for children to play too. Great visit!
