Such a lovely little cafe! Very recommended if you're a fan of Japanese bullet trains or model trains. The trains driving around the restaurant really made the trip special! The coffee and cake was very good, and they have some interesting drinks like orange coffee. Give it a try if you're in downtown Toyama! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000

Such a cool spot! Blue Train Coffee Shop is tucked away in Toyama and has that old sleeper train vibe going on. It’s super cozy, full of character, and a great place to kick back with a nice cup of coffee. The drinks are smooth and tasty, and the desserts hit the spot. The owner was really friendly and made some light small talk with us, which added to the warm, welcoming feel. A chill little place to relax and soak up some retro charm. We visited on 2nd Apeil 2025. We are impressed as they provide hot towels just like Singapore Airlines!!. Meal type: Other Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
