The food is absolutely amazing with the place so clean and tidy l really enjoyed it. What a fantastic find! We started with a pint over the road at The Bell, and after spotting the signs allowing you to order Boo Koos directly to the pub, we knew we were onto a winner. It's definitely worth booking a table beforehand as they don't have many tables inside—which might explain why they cleverly allow you to order online straight to the pub opposite! When we walked in, the hardest part of the entire meal was simply deciding what to order—literally everything on the menu sounded incredible. In the end, we went for: The Smokehouse Squealer: Absolutely packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and came with a very nice BBQ sauce that pulled it all together. Habanero Mango Chicken Burger: My wife had this and confirmed it was delicious, though it definitely won the battle of heat—it beat her in the end! Lil' Boo Hotdogs: Perfect and plain for our young boys. Basket of Fries: We shared these, and they were brilliant. The coating was spot on—flavorful but not too overwhelming, which meant even our fussy kids polished them off. We also tried Pineapple Fanta for the first time, which was an absolute game-changer. We'll definitely be ordering that again. There were completely empty plates all around the table. We would all visit here again in a heartbeat—honestly, I just wish they would open up more of these around the country! A must-visit if you're in Helston.
