Place was dirty, manager at the check in was rude. The restrooms had no soap, and when I asked the manager, he initially ignored me. After I came to ask him again, he just left them on the counter in the restroom.. I won’t be coming back. This place was very disgusting. .

Upon walking in, the setup was so thoughtful and personalized. Kevin was great explaining how to get started and everything I discussed with the coordinator was perfect. Our server, Jordan, was exceptional! Friendly, efficient, and quick! Our team had a blast and the checkout payment process was very simple. What a great experience! Highly recommend!

Disappointment with Recent Changes at Bowlero Santa Barbara: I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent decision to fire the General Manager at Bowlero Santa Barbara. As a long-time patron of the bowling alley, formerly known as Zodos, I have seen this center evolve over the years, but the recent changes have been particularly disheartening. The General Manager, a local and the last remaining connection to the beloved Zodos era, was more than just an employee; they were a cornerstone of the community. Their dedication and familiarity with the local culture created an atmosphere that was warm, welcoming, and uniquely Santa Barbara. Their presence was a vital link to the center’s roots, and their dismissal is a huge loss to both the staff and customers who valued that connection. Since Bowlero took over, there has been a noticeable decline in the quality of the bowling experience. The emphasis seems to be on cutting costs while raising prices, resulting in a corporate atmosphere that feels disconnected from the vibrant, community-oriented spirit that Zodos was known for. The heart and soul of the center have been replaced by a cold, profit-driven approach. One of the most disappointing aspects is the decline in the food quality. The menu used to offer a variety of tasty options that added to the overall experience, but now it feels like the offerings have been cheapened, sacrificing flavor and freshness. The bar, which was once a highlight with over 50 beers on tap, has been reduced to just around 10. This drastic reduction is a letdown for those of us who enjoyed the wide selection of beverages that complemented the social atmosphere of the center. What was once a lively, well-stocked bar has now become just another casualty of Bowlero's cost-cutting measures. These are only a couple of choices that were handed down from corporate that highly affected the atmosphere that were out of the general managers control. Bowlero Santa Barbara was once a place where locals felt at home, a gathering spot where friends and families could create lasting memories. Unfortunately, the recent changes, culminating in the firing of the General Manager, have stripped away much of what made this center special. I hope that Bowlero management reconsiders its approach to running this location and makes efforts to reconnect with the local community and restore some of the charm and authenticity that made this bowling center so beloved. Retaining and valuing experienced local staff, rather than replacing them with corporate-driven management, would be a step in the right direction.
