Stopped by after a day of wine tasting. Beautiful small town and great brewery. Had two of their IPAs and loved both. The service was also wonderful. Didn't eat, but the focaccia pizza looked great. Can't wait to go back.
Was hoping they would add some more food to go with the beer, but so far it's very limited. I like the walnuts and dates, the hummus is ok, but it's really just a few pizzas and sandwiches on offer. The chicken one needs more meat in it. I guess it's mainly a place for beer drinking and light snacking.
We are so desperately in need of more and better food and beer choices in Amador County that I'm delighted to see another new one enter the fray, in the popular old bakery spot, with a nice, large outdoor seating area in back. There were six beers today, including Summer Bummer, super pale and The Head of Joaquin Murieta, Hoppy (6.5%), misspelled but I'm for anything that calls attention to the horribly neglected outlaw. The food menu is limited too, but there are some very interesting choices. If there's more than one of you, I'd just go for the sampler platter. Come on, you know you want to try everything, OR definitely recommend The Flat Tire Sandwich with Maple Persimmon Jam. DELISH
