Absolutely love this restaurant! They offer a large variety of vegan and regular food on their menu! Not only did they call me to make sure my order was made correctly , order was very quickly delivered. Such wonderful service!! Will be ordering again soon! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5

BRIX continues to go downhill. Lived in Cortland years ago when BRIX had much less competition on Main Street and it was always a great time. Good service, good food, good drinks. Since moving away we try to come back and support whenever we're in town and each time there's a different reason why we aren't able to eat there usually involving poor service and general confusion from the staff. Last night we walked in at 10pm and were ignored at the front door for almost 5 minutes. Finally a server came over and asked what we wanted. We requested a table and were abruptly told, "We're not seating anybody now, find a spot at the bar, late night food only". I asked what late night food meant and the server seemed very annoyed to explain. There was also no space at the bar but there were many open tables, some with people sitting at them. We then walked around to the takeout area to just order some pizza slices, ignored again, even though at least 3 kitchen staff popped their heads out and clearly saw us. We went across the street to Domino's, were welcomed immediately, and got our pizzas quickly. I'll never walk into BRIX again. Wish y'all the best, but I expect better than dive bar vibes from a large restaurant that takes up so much space on Main Street. Seems like they take their customer base for granted. Make sure to stop at Brix!!! The grilled vegetable salad is hands down my favorite salad anywhere. I’ve never found another one like it, and I think about it all the time. Every few years when we’re passing through Cortland, we make sure to stop just for this salad! It’s one of those dishes that’s nearly impossible to recreate at home because of the time and effort it takes to perfectly grill all the vegetables. It may be a pizza place, but don’t sleep on the salad—and if you’re not vegetarian, you can add chicken to it too. It’s also worth noting that the service is phenomenal, and the guys cooking are always so friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. It’s one of those places we make dure to come back to whenever we drive past town. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
