Burger Box in Bedford is home to one of the best burgers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Every visit brings back a wave of nostalgia. I still remember when the restaurant had the classic orange-and-white laminate floors, the jukebox, and the old-school atmosphere that made it a local favorite. Over the years, there have been changes in management and renovations to the facility, but one thing has remained remarkably consistent: the burgers. That grill must be seasoned to perfection after decades of serving great food. The flavor, quality, and consistency keep me coming back time and time again. Sometimes the simplest things are the best—a great burger, crispy fries, and a thick milkshake. It doesn't get much more American than that. In a world of trendy burger concepts and endless menu options, Burger Box continues to prove that doing the basics exceptionally well never goes out of style. This place holds a special place in my heart. I even celebrated birthdays here as a child, and it's been fun to see it continue serving the community all these years later. Whether you're a longtime customer or visiting for the first time, Burger Box is a DFW classic that's absolutely worth a stop. We had pretty high hopes for this place, but unfortunately it fell pretty short. The burger patties are very thin (pretty sure I can get a thicker burger patty from Whataburger), the burgers are small, and everything was pretty bland. I ordered the Big Tex burger, and the barbecue sauce on it is way too sweet. We paid for a large combo and were given medium, and when asking the cashier what the difference was, he didn't seem to understand what we were asking and just rang us up. Overall, pretty disappointed. Not sure we would come back here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
